If you want to play the games created with VX Ace, you need to install this RTP before you play the games. Using this RTP, you can reduce the total size of your game files created with VX Ace. So please ensure to install this RTP before you install RPG MAKER VX Ace. It contains graphic, music (.ogg) and dll files which you can use when creating your own games with RPG MAKER VX Ace. RPG MAKER VX Ace Runtime Package (RTP) is a collection of materials. 1.00 END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT WHAT IS RPG MAKER VX ACE RUNTIME PACKAGE? I know I would be pleased with simply being able to upload and browse community sprites, event trigger projects, and such, on a more "official" site. So pros and cons, I guess.Īre there any future plans to have a RPG2003 workshop, or a "materials" section of the forums? It doesn't have to be accessable "in game" like the VX one. It's really fun to make cool stuff happen in the combat system, with a proper GUI to edit skill animations with.
On the other hand, seeing the battlers in combat is pretty sweet once everything matches, and I do like that this system is basically "FF5" right out of the box. Maybe I'll eventually have something that isn't so "MS Paint Noob" like to share, but for now I need a lot more practice.
I've quickly found it to be rather difficult to expand on the chipset characters with proper detail. The size is somewhere between "just photoshop and size down" and "small itty bitty cute pixel work". Right now it's my own lack of skill on larger sprite work that's holding me back. I do own the Game Character Hub and have been making a scale template(poportions and head/body size, arm hand positioning and such) for the RTP style. I'll have to take a closer look at it over the coming days. That recovery thread is a Godsend, thanks CherryDT for linking it, and thanks to all the community that's been piecing it all together too. I had a feeling something like that might have happened, given what my searches pulled up. (Sorry for the lack of reply, been a bit distracted by the OMG STEAM SALE11111ONEONEONE factor, among a few other RL issues.)Īh thanks.
